So in case no one has been paying attention, my patreon has been, what's the word I'm looking for...ah yes
STAGNANT
I've got 4 patrons and while I should be happy I've got that much, I really thought you, my fans, would be just a tad more supportive. I know I said "it's not mandatory", but I can't help but think that I only have four people out there willing to support me.
Then it hit me, maybe I'm not offering the right incentives.
So, I came up with two, more reasonably achievable goals for the Patreon.
If I can get 12 patrons to take the pledge, I will start my faux Death Battle series Epic Clash. A show hosted in-universe by Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney, Konata Izumi from Lucky Star and Xiaomu from Namco X Capcom. And as an incentive, the first ten people who donate starting now (even though that will be two more people beyond the goal) will get a chance to suggest ideas for the show. And it's first come first serve for the order your idea gets put into the show.
So basically: Death Battle not putting out for you? Are you okay with a text-based fight? Donate today and I might take it upon myself to do it
BUT
There's another series that I've talked about working on: Flawless Soul Society. You know, that spiritual successor to Soul Chess that everyone has been asking about. Well, if I can get my page to 25 patrons, I'll begin an outline and prep work for FSS. It won't be easy, but unless I know more people out there are willing to support me, I'm not willing to put in the extra effort to make more content if I don't feel there's an incentive to do so.
In short: I feel underappreciated and you guys can help.
Please note that this will not stop regular updates on FWW and planning stages for DTF, I just don't have incentive to do more than that. And yes, Cornelia of the Defection will come back eventually.
Also, FWW is hitting a bit of a snag. If anyone can somehow find the track used for the Ichigo v Naruto Death Battle and link me to it so I can listen to it, it'll get 255 out MUCH faster and I'll give the first person who finds it a special thank you in the A/N. Otherwise, you guys'll be waiting till I can get motivated enough to finish this chapter.

Sorry to hear that things aren't going your way with Patreon and currently I can't support you mostly as I told you in the note that I don't have a consistent income. But at the same time what you're trying to do is on unproven grounds. I mean as far as I'm aware you're the only one mixing fanfiction with patreon not to mention that even with the large fan base that you have it doesn't necessarily mean that every one of them would support you right off the bat, not saying that it's a bad idea just its something that's never been done before to my knowledge.
