I've been debating this idea for a while and being over a year with no job in my field, I find it's high time I start putting the only other skill I have into practice.

Many of you, as I know, have great ideas and not the time to write them. I have plenty of good ideas, but have my own projects that I would love to start, but haven't the time.

So, here's the deal. I'm going to open fanfiction commissions.

:iconderpplz: :iconsaysplz: You can't do that! That's making money off of someone else's work and that's copyright infringement you thief! THIEF!

:iconbloodplz:

:iconepicebi: :iconsaysplz: *holding a steel pipe* I hate it when he escapes from the basement.

Agreed.

So as I was saying, fanfiction is no different from fanart. One is text and one is visual. And yet people do fanart on commission. So, why can't I?

I don't have a paypal account YET, but when I do, I'll give more details.

However, before anyone starts grasping at me willy nilly to write certain things, I have rules for what I will and will not do. These are them:

:bulletred: I will only write fanfiction for fandoms that I in particular am comfortable with writing for. If I don't know ALL of the fandoms involved, you're better off looking elsewhere.
:bulletred: NO YAOI! I cannot stress this one enough. If you want to endulge in your bizarre yaoi fantasies, go look elsewhere.
:bulletred: I will only undertake projects that I feel are worth my time and effort. If I cannot bring myself to get behind the project, then chances are it won't look the way you want it to.
:bulletred: I will not write projects that rival or bash ships I support. However, I am more than willing to do crack ships. But only if I find that the narrative can make it possible for the ship to WORK. I'm not going to slip OOC for your bizarre fantasies.
:bulletred: You are paying me to write this so while the plot is yours, the writing style is mine to do with as I please. Remember that.
:bulletblue: On that note, before I post a chapter, you are free to look it over before I post it. You are also free to have me make any changes you wish.

Those are the rules for stories you can come to me with. If I need to add more rules because I forgot something, I will add them as they come up. If it seems like I am being picky it's because I still have an image I need to keep up. Just because you come to me with money, doesn't mean I don't have standards. i'm not THAT desperately in need of cash. Plus if I write projects I like it won't feel like work AND it shows the quality of my writing when people come to my fanfiction.net profile.

Right, that's good, let's talk the next step. Let's say I agree to undertaking your project. In that case you must be willing to communicate with me regularly by:

:bulletblue: e-mail
:bulletblue: skype
:bulletblue: DA note

I do not use other IM services, nor will I. If you don't have an e-mail address you obviously live in a cave. E-mail is most preferrential. Skype is only acceptable if and only if I consider you a true friend and not just a client.

So we have communication and I'm doing your fanfiction. So what's to come from payment? Well...

:bulletblack: You only have to pay me AFTER the chapter has been posted. However, I will not write a new chapter until payment has been received.
:bulletwhite: Chapters are typically to be posted according to the plan worked out by you and me. Typically this will be once a month, maybe once every three weeks, but no less.
:bulletblack: Payment per chapter is $20. You get 5 thousand words for those $20. Anything above that, which is entirely at my discretion, is $1 more for every thousand words. So a 10,000 word chapter is $25 and a 15,000 word chapter is $30.
:bulletwhite: The $20 rate is subject to change by negotiation or the overall length of the project.
:bulletwhite: For every 1 thousand words LESS than 5 thousand, the price per chapter is reduced by $2.
:bulletblack: If you have multiple projects with me, each one is paid for separately. You can choose which project gets posted during the "payment plan".

I will have more details about HOW to pay me at a later date. Just note that production will not begin until I have fully set up either a PayPal account or worked out how to do this. Of course if you want to start throwing your ideas at me, that's fine.

I should have an update later today after my dad gets home and I talk this out with him. Till then may your souls stay human and your wrath draconic

Ja ne!
